Submerged Wind is a contemporary handcrafted jewel inspired by the submerged landscapes of the Adriatic Sea and the organic forms of seaweed. Observing nature, especially Ulva –known as sea lettuce– is the starting point of this creation.
On the seabed, the Ulva moves slowly following invisible currents, creating light, wavy surfaces that resemble plant tissue suspended in water.
This jewel was born from the desire to translate that natural movement into a wearable sculptural form, where transparencies, reflections and irregularities evoke the light that crosses the sea. The organic, fluid lines recall the fronds of the algae dancing in the currents, while the luminous details suggest the particles of light that animate the submerged landscape.

A central element of the research is the focus on sustainability and reuse of materials. Submerged Wind is part of an artistic journey that explores the value of transformation, elevating waste materials to new precious material through artisanal work.
The jewel is made from recovered X-ray plates, an unusual and translucent material that is carved and shaped to obtain light, organic shapes. The surfaces are then crocheted with glass yarns and beads, creating a delicate weave that runs through the edges of the jewelry and amplifies the sensation of movement and brightness.
This combination of reclaimed materials, textile techniques, and manual processing transforms the object into a meeting of art, craftsmanship, and contemporary design. The result is a unique jewel that lies between ornament and micro-sculpture, capable of telling a story of the sea, transformation and new life of materials.
Submerged Wind thus becomes a fragment of seascape to wear: a sustainable and contemporary jewel born from the observation of nature and experimentation with unconventional materials.
