The Roma Jewelry Week 2024 has just ended in the capital. The Roma Jewelry Week is the week entirely dedicated to the promotion and enhancement of the contemporary, author’s, artist’s jewelry and historical goldsmiths’ realities in the city. RJW sees numerous initiatives with the participation of more than 170 artists and designers from all over the world.
A rich calendar of events: tours, talks, conferences, workshops and events spread in the beautiful Rome. In fact, I was involved in an exciting exhibition, entitled “HELIOCENTRICHE”, at the Atelier Aspecifico of the well-known artist Myriam Bottazzi. The event is scheduled for the contest called by the gallery Incinque Open Art Monti the “Premio Incinque”.
102 participants from all over the world exhibited their creations from October 4 to 6 in the magnificent setting of the Trajan’s Markets. “Infinite Baroque” is the theme chosen for this year. Also “Sognando lo Scirocco Jewels” participated in the Contest, with the jewel entitled “The coral reef of art history”.

This jewel gave me the chance to finish third in the category “Experimental Contemporary jewels”.
It is inspired by the Baroque of Lecce, the Baroque of my Puglia. “The stone leccese, malleable and golden, “coral reef of art history”, gave birth to an exuberant Baroque lecce. Decors chase each other, explode among the sumptuous buildings. It is a resonance of a perception of finitude and infinity not in contrast, but rather coexistence. Land conquered by more people gives impulses of exuberance.” This year I brought home so many emotions, new knowledge and so much enthusiasm!
